The Army's West top was green with gold lettering. Danbom chose this color combo because it went well with the Oakland A's road cap.
Army's West nickname came from these hats and if you can't figure out why they were the A's then you've got problems.
2006
With new sponsors came new uni's and a new color combination in 2006. Inspired by the Chuk N Duk softball power house out of Sioux Falls, SD Danbom chose Texas Orange, with black & white accents.
This hat was all jersey material for better wicking ability to keep the sweat out of Team CD's eyes. But the high structured top was unpopular with many of the CDer's. So after the 2006 season this hat got the boot!
2007
Wanting a fresh new look, Danbom found flex fit trucker black hats. Danbom designed the logo using the Anaheim Angels text for the "CD". The popularity of this hat will keep this style for CDer's and their fans for years to come.
